The Wedding Day Survival Kit for Brides Guide

You know what, sometimes when you're planning for your wedding, you need to plan for the unexpected. So, here are Jen's ultimate list of everything you need in your survival kit on your wedding day.

FOR YOU

  • Chocolates & bubbly, because you deserve it. A glass of bubbly, while you’re getting ready may help you relax. Don’t overdo it, know your limits.

  • A gorgeous scented candle to light on your wedding day. I recommend keeping that candle & lighting it every year on your wedding anniversary.

PERSONAL USE

  • 72-hour dry deodorant to help keep your armpits dry all day & avoid wet patches on your gorgeous dress.

  • Hairspray - gravity happens, it’s useful to respray later in the day to keep your hair in place.

  • Tissues - it’s such an emotional day.

  • Ibuprofen gel - for your feet. Before putting on your shoes, rub some into your feet, it helps numb them. If your feet start to feel tired during the day, top it up. Please practice using it before the day & read the label before using it.

  • Vaseline - to keep your lips hydrated.

FOR YOUR DRESS

  • A sewing kit with white thread. It's really good to have this on standby for any emergencies or to sew up the train of your dress. The reinforced button doesn’t always last, so having a plan B to hold up your dress is recommended.

  • Safety pins - just incase!

  • Chalk - white chalk for colouring in stains on your dresses on the day. Of course, choose the chalk colour that will match your dress.

  • Tide to go stain remover pen - for any accidents on your dress.
