Brides, it’s time to prioritise you.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you arrive at your long-awaited wedding day totally exhausted & overwhelmed?

Do you find yourself waiting for the day to be over?

By not being present & feeling happy in yourself on the day, it might be your biggest regret for many years.

Sadly for too many, this is their reality.

But, It does not need to be like that.

Too many brides are forgetting about looking after their own well-being. They're so busy executing the planning and chasing suppliers, writing invites, liaising with caterers to even consider how they are really feeling.

From the outside looking in, being a bride can appear to be such a whimsical & romantic time. One to envy. But in reality, it’s the time in a woman’s life they can feel most isolated & overworked.

There are some emotions you might find yourself thinking about. Often you may not realise how deep those feelings are impacting your mental health.

  • Will we just elope?

  • Too much to do & simply don’t know where to begin?

  • Worried about how to pay for it all?

  • Family politics taking over?

  • Is negotiating with suppliers a concern?

  • Decision making proving difficult?

  • Experiencing bridal party conflict?

It takes a lot of self-reflection & courage to admit you’re finding it too much.

There are some steps you can take to start putting yourself first.

  1. Check-in with your partner. Tell them how you’re feeling & be honest. See if there is anything they can do to support you.

  2. Talk to a close friend or family member. It’s ok to ask for help.

  3. Leverage the power of Social Media and talk to other brides. Hearing about other experiences can be so powerful You will benefit from it.

  4. Take a break. Take just a few days, or even weeks off & just be you for a while. Wedding planning can wait for a while.

  5. Book a coaching call with Jen, or join in a group coaching session to hear from other brides about their experiences in a safe place.
